Where the forecast comes from — and how to read it
A click on the map combines forest habitat, the last days' weather and the season — and judges whether right now favours mushrooms. The more factors hit their optimum, the better the chance of a good trip with a basket.
Each factor has its optimum — too dry and too wet hurt just the same.
Nature has its own rules: no mushroom in a "good" spot is not an error, and a find in a "weak" one is a pleasant surprise. Picking and judging are always up to you.
